The AI landscape is currently dominated by models prioritizing scale over cognitive fidelity. While large language models (LLMs) have demonstrated remarkable capabilities, their "black box" nature, propensity for hallucination, and susceptibility to adversarial attacks remain significant challenges. Metanthropic was founded with a singular, ambitious objective: to engineer AI systems that are inherently transparent, morally aligned, and computationally efficient.

Our research initiatives span from fundamental architectural shifts to novel training methodologies. We are actively developing models like ARVI-20B to push the boundaries of what's possible with sparse architectures, while simultaneously addressing the theoretical underpinnings of unlearning (M-NAAR) and adversarial robustness.
